how do we serve?
The Cathedral Choir at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Cathedral enhances worship by leading the congregation in hymn singing, chanting the psalm, and providing musical anthems during the service. Our singers help embody the beauty and emotions found in worship and share them with believers through song. The choir takes part in Evensong services, Diocesan events, and local music festivals, as well. We are a “family” and love spending time together – you can catch us at a local pub each week following rehearsals!
What’s involved?
- Choir Rehearsals: 7-8:30pm on Wednesdays (September thru May)
- Sunday Mornings: 10:15am service
- Occasional extra worship services and festivals.
- …not available for the weekly commitment but love to sing? No problem! Reach out to our choir director, Matt, and we can invite you to participate when you’re available and/or big events!
