The Cathedral has a long and deep dedication to excellence in music for worship.  In 2024, the Cathedral installed a new Marshall & Ogletree organ to replace the aging pipe organ. In February 2025, two new Music Directors were called, Matt and Sarah Topping. With them came additional singers to boost our existing dedicated choristers.

The new organ, the new Directors, and the new singers have added an exciting dimension to the music in our worship.  Our music program also provides opportunities to build bridges to the surrounding community. Matt teaches music at Cedar Cliff High School (CCHS) in Camp Hill, PA, and recently invited the CCHS Chamber Singers to perform Handel’s Dixit Dominus at the Cathedral. The Cathedral regularly hosts special musical events and periodically offers special evensong services of worship for the congregation and the surrounding community.
